Manchester City are reportedly willing to wait a year if Tottenham Hotspur reject their bids for Harry Kane this summer.

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to remain patient in their efforts to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

The England international has allegedly informed chairman Daniel Levy that he wishes to depart the North London outfit during the summer transfer window.

However, Levy is adamant that the long-serving frontman will not be allowed to leave Spurs in 2021 unless they receive a bid in the region of £150m.

According to ESPN, City are happy to wait a further 12 months if negotiations do not bring about a positive resolution over the coming months.

Kane still has three years remaining on his contract, keeping Spurs in a strong position regarding his future in the short term.

City would still likely pursue an alternative with Sergio Aguero having departed for Barcelona on a free transfer.
