Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa insists that he would consider changing his playing style at Elland Road.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has insisted that he would consider changing his playing style if he believed it would be beneficial to the team.

The Whites impressed during their first campaign back in the Premier League, claiming 59 points from their 38 matches to finish ninth in the table.

Leeds have found it difficult in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign, though, picking up just two points from four matches, and they have conceded eight times in defeats to Manchester United and Liverpool.

The team have received plaudits for their all-action displays, but they have also faced criticism due to their attacking style, which has left them vulnerable against the bigger sides.

Bielsa has insisted that he would have no issues altering his style of football in the future.

"If I thought another way of playing would improve the team, I wouldn't have any doubts in doing it," Bielsa told reporters. "The style of a team is in conjunction of what is convenient and if you are able to execute it. Every process is legitimate, what I try to do is improve what we do."

Leeds will be looking to record their first win of the new Premier League season when they travel to Newcastle United on Friday night.
