Willett finished on 17-under-par for the tournament to pip his fellow Englishman to glory in Switzerland.

It was the 27-year-old's third professional title - all of which have come on the European Tour - and his first of 2015, having won the Nedbank Golf Challenge in December.

Another Englishman in Tyrrell Hatton finished third on 15-under after an impressive round of 62 - including six birdies and an eagle - propelled him into contention.

Pre-tournament favourite Sergio Garcia finished sixth on 11-under following his final-round 64, with a modest opening two days undermining the Spaniard.
