Alex Cejka leads the way in Thailand

Alex Cejka leads the Thailand Golf Championship by one shot at the end of the first round.

Alex Cejka has carded an eight-under 64 for his opening round at the Thailand Golf Championship to lead the way by one shot.

The 43-year-old German made birdie at the par-three 17th to pip Justin Rose and Arnond Vongvanij to the top of the leaderboard, with Gaganjeet Bhullar and Sergio Garcia sharing fourth place on six-under-par.

Sweden's Daniel Chopra is a shot further adrift in fourth, followed by Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Angelo Que, Mardan Mamat and Charl Schwartzel on four-under.

Sujan Singh is on the same score but just misses out on a spot in the top 10.

Henrik Stenson and Bubba Watson are among a group of five on three-under, while Rickie Fowler still in contention on two-under.
