Daniel Berger claims first PGA Tour title by winning FedEx St Jude Classic

Daniel Berger wins his first PGA Tour title by winning the FedEx St Jude Classic following a three-hour rain delay.

Daniel Berger sealed his first PGA Tour title by winning a rain-affected FedEx St Jude Classic on Sunday.

The 23-year-old took home the trophy with a three-shot advantage after shooting 13-under-par for the tournament following a three-hour rain delay in Memphis.

Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and Steve Stricker were in contention for the title on the final day, but Berger hit a three-under 69, which included five birdies, to take top spot.

Koepka hit a 66 in the final round, while Mickelson and Stricker shot 67s as all three competitors finished tied-second in the field.
