Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves admits that he could potentially depart Molineux this summer to take a 'a big opportunity'.

Ruben Neves has suggested that he has 'dreams to live' away from Wolverhampton Wanderers, amid speculation of a potential departure during the summer transfer window.

In recent weeks, the midfielder has been strongly linked with a switch to Barcelona, while Manchester United and other Premier League clubs are known to be admirers of the Portugal international.

With two years remaining on his contract, Wolves are not necessarily under pressure to part ways with their biggest asset, but the 25-year-old has acknowledged that now may be the right time to take on a new challenge away from Molineux.

As quoted by The Athletic, Neves said: "Everyone knows about what football is about, what our lives are about. Our careers are really short, we need to take the opportunities we have.

"Of course, all of us have dreams and we need to live those dreams in a short space of time. Let's see what happens. I cannot say too much about it."

In his five years at Wolves, Neves has made a total of 211 appearances, his most recent outing coming on Sunday as the West Midlands outfit suffered a 3-1 defeat at Liverpool in the Premier League.
