Wolves are seventh in the Premier League and still in the FA Cup.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has called for focus from his players as an exciting season for Wanderers continues to unfold.

A third straight Premier League win at Everton on Saturday saw Wolves take a grip of seventh spot in the table while a good run in the FA Cup looks a strong possibility, with several big teams having already been knocked out.

Nuno's side host League One neighbours Shrewsbury in a fourth-round replay on Tuesday night, after a 2-2 draw at New Meadow nine days ago.

The winner will travel to Championship club Bristol City in the last-16 later this month.

With Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal out, and Chelsea and Manchester United facing each other in the fifth round, excitement levels among Wolves supporters are increasing.

Nuno said: "I understand the excitement of the fans, they're proud of the team and what they see on the pitch.

"This is what makes me pleased. The expectations outside doesn't mean a lot – we work for the fans and try to give them moments of happiness.

"But success doesn't last long unless you work for it to sustain your performances and achieve consistency, and this is one of the hardest things to do in football. We're really trying to do that.

"The next game is always the most important and we must be really focused tomorrow. We have to be switched on. It was a tough game (at Shrewsbury), we were fortunate to get a last-minute goal.

"We have to be conscious it's not an easy task, Shrewsbury will come here and that for them – and us – is a cup final. I expect a very tough game against a highly motivated team."

After the Shrewsbury tie, Wolves will travel to Marbella for a mid-season training camp before returning ahead of Monday's Premier League game against Newcastle at Molineux.

"There's no holiday, holiday is only in May," said Nuno. "Like we did last season, the schedule allows us now to go. We go to work, focus and prepare for the Newcastle game."

Diogo Jota and Ruben Vinagre will miss the fourth-round replay through injury and illness respectively.

Like Jota, Ruben Neves is also nursing a knock following the win at Everton but he could still feature against the Shrews.
