Luciano Vietto: 'Villarreal move a dream come true'

Argentine forward Luciano Vietto says that joining Villarreal "is a dream come true".

Argentine forward Luciano Vietto has revealed his delight after joining Villarreal on a long-term deal.

The 20-year-old, who completed his move from Racing Club on Monday, has been compared to Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.

"Coming to Spain is a dream come true, something that any player would dream of as a youngster. This is a great step in my career and I hope I can keep growing at this great club," he told reporters at a press conference.

"What motivated me most about joining Villarreal, was that I know they've been following me for some time now. They showed great interest in me. Hopefully I can repay that confidence and bring a lot of joy to this club."

Vietto had previously been linked with a number of European clubs.
