Good morning folks! The transfer window has already seen plenty of action with deals coming in thick and fast throughout the day and night. One of the biggest stories yesterday concerned Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, who is reportedly edging closer to a move to Fenerbahce. That's just one of the many stories we will be monitoring for you today, so stick around!

The Red Devils may well be preparing for Robin van Persie's departure, but it could be a case of one out, one in as reports suggest they are ready to scupper Chelsea's bid to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Arsenal's long search for a new number nine could be closer to an end after reports suggest they are ready to agree a deal to bring Karim Benzema to the Emirates. The French international striker, who scored 22 goals for Los Blancos last season, is rumoured to be available for £17.8m.

Another club in desperate need of a striker is Newcastle United, who scored just 40 goals in their 38 Premier League games last season. Bordeaux's Uruguayan forward Diego Rolan could be the man the Magpies need, and reports suggest they are preparing a £10m bid.

Newcastle United aren't limiting themselves to just Diego Rolan, however. Reports this morning suggest they are also pursuing Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, and are ready to pay £15m to secure his signature. It could a new look strikeforce for the Magpies next season.

Up-and-coming Swiss sensation Breel Embolo is being monitored by West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, according to reports. The 18-year-old Basel striker scored 10 goals in the Super League last season, and is thought to be available for around £10m.

Two big stories have emerged overnight concerning Manchester rivals City and United. First, it is widely claimed that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is still on the Red Devils' radar, while Manuel Pellegrini is said to be readying a third high-money bid for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling.

Yohan Cabaye could be making a return to the Premier League this summer to be reunited with former boss Alan Pardew. Crystal Palace were among those rumoured to be interested in the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, and Eagles chairman Steve Parish has now confirmed that the club are "working on" a deal.

Manchester United winger Angel di Maria picked up a hamstring injury during last night's Copa America final, which may force the Red Devils' hand in the transfer market.

Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour is a man seemingly in demand at this moment in time. The Tunisian's agent recently claimed that Liverpool, Juventus and Barcelona have each shown an interest, but a fresh report claims that West Ham United are the first to make an official approach.

Could World Cup winner Mario Gotze be on the move in the coming weeks? His agent has hit out at Bayern Munich for their handling of the star midfielder last season, claiming that they failed to offer him enough support.

From a World Cup winner to the lower leagues of English football, and Cambridge United have completed the signing of goalkeeper Sam Beasant - son of former England shot-stopper Dave Beasant. More on that story here.

It seems the Martin Odegaard rumours, which dominated the last transfer window, are not going to go away just yet. The Norwegian wonderkid has been heavily linked with a loan move away from the club, and Scottish champions Celtic are said to have renewed their interest in the player.

Liverpool have already been very busy in this summer's window as they look to improve on last season's disappointment, and they could be closing in on a seventh new face at Anfield. With Manchester City eyeing a deal for Raheem Sterling, there could well be movement in the opposite direction too, with an international striker perhaps following James Milner from the Etihad to Merseyside. Find out who here.

Speaking of busy, there have been a couple of news pieces coming out of Bundesliga club FC Koln today. The bad news for them is that they have missed out on Felipe Santana after the Schalke defender failed a medical, but they have managed to clinch the signature of Serbian midfielder Milos Jojic from Borussia Dortmund.

Some promising news for you Spurs fans to get excited about - Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld appears to be edging ever closer to a move to White Hart Lane. The latest development in that story is that the two clubs have now reportedly agreed a fee for the Belgian, who spent last season on loan at Southampton.

Chile created history by winning the Copa America last night - their first ever major international title - but one of their squad could well be on the move in the near future. Manchester United's Angelo Henriquez is reportedly nearing an exit from Old Trafford to join Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, where he had an astonishing scoring record on loan last season.

Manchester United have reportedly agreed to sell Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez to Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb. The 21-year-old, who was part of Chile's Copa America-winning squad, spent last season on loan with the side, scoring 20 goals in 25 appearances.

Newcastle United have reportedly made Northampton Town striker Ivan Toney a summer transfer target. The 19-year-old made his senior debut for the Cobblers back in 2013 after graduating from the club's youth academy.

The agent of Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci has revealed that his client would be willing to speak to Celtic should the Scottish champions submit a big enough offer. United have set a £1.5m asking price for the Turkish striker, but Celtic are yet to meet that valuation having seen bids of £900,000 and £1m turned down.

Juan Cuadrado's agent has denied reports that the Chelsea winger is seeking a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer. It was suggested earlier this week that the Colombia international had been told that the Blues were looking to recoup some of the £27m they splashed out on him in January.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly failed with a bid for Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips. It is understood that the Baggies made a £5m offer for the 24-year-old, who joined QPR from Blackpool in 2013.

Former France manager Raymond Domenech has urged Hugo Lloris to remain at Tottenham Hotspur, insisting that joining Manchester United would be a sidewards step in his career. The 28-year-old is said to be seen as the ideal replacement for David de Gea, should the current Red Devils shot-stopper depart for Real Madrid in the coming weeks.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has backed rivals Real Madrid to keep hold of Sergio Ramos this summer. Ramos's future in the Spanish capital is thought to be unclear as Manchester United remain linked with a move for the defender.

We are now approaching that time of the summer when players begin to return to their clubs for pre-season training, and David de Gea has confirmed that he will take part in training at Manchester United on Monday. The in-demand goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months, but right now he is focused on his current club.

Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has been repeatedly tipped with a return to West Ham United on another loan deal this summer, but fresh reports suggest that the Hammers will push through a permanent deal.

Speaking of players in demand - Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has revealed that Roma, Porto and Benfica are all interested in signing him. Swansea City are also thought to be keen to land the man who scored 23 goals in 44 games last term.

It might not be as high-profile as the talk surrounding the aforementioned David de Gea, but Liverpool have snapped up promising Arsenal youngster Elijah Dixon-Bonner from Arsenal. The 16-year-old joins on scholarship terms, with the Gunners likely to receive a compensation fee. More on that can be found here.

It's 7pm, which can only mean one thing - Transfer Talk Update time! We've neatly rounded up all the developments from throughout today, which can be found right here.

Much has been made of Manchester City's proposed interest in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and rumours continue to circulate about the kind of fee the Old Lady's playmaker would command. Former France coach Raymond Domenech has suggested that the 22-year-old Frenchman is worth just as much as Real Madrid's Gareth Bale, who was purchased from Tottenham Hotspur for £86m.

Juventus have reportedly been interested in a number of Chelsea players this summer, and that list may have grown a little larger with one report in the press suggesting that the Italian giants could be keeping tabs on Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado.

Liverpool have already made improvements this summer having brought in the likes of James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne. It appears as if they are also keen for youngster Luis Alberto to continue his development in La Liga next season. A statement from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna has stated that the 22-year-old midfielder will undergo a medical with the club ahead of a proposed season-long loan move.

Up in Scotland, Dundee United frontman Nadir Ciftci's future has been uncertain in recent weeks. The Turkish striker has already turned down a move to Wigan Athletic and it is thought that he is now being pursued by Celtic. However, United coach Jackie McNamara has stated that the club will only sell the player should the Hoops meet his asking price.

There has been ongoing talk of Robin van Persie making a move away from Manchester United this summer. Some reports have stated that the Dutch frontman has already agreed personal terms with Turkish outfit Fenerbahce, but the player's agent still expects the striker to report for training at United tomorrow.

United are also thought to be considering a move for Southampton and France midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Former Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech believes that a potential move would help to progress the 25-year-old's career at an international level.

Is Alex Song poised to wrap up his move to West Ham this week? According to this report he is. Click here for more on that one.

What do Mark Lawrenson, Robbie Fowler and John Aldridge all have in common? Indeed, all three played for Liverpool, but the trio also all want to see the Reds sign Christian Benteke this summer. Will he listen to the legends? Time will tell. More on that one here.
