Good morning! With three weeks of the transfer window remaining, will we see some more big deals going through? Let's start by looking at the situation of an international striker who might be on his way to the Premier League.

Karim Benzema has been linked with the exit door at Real Madrid for much of the summer, with Arsenal touted as a potential destination the Frenchman. According to a report, Real will accept a bid from the Gunners for the 27-year-old, but only if it is at least £45m.

Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to be linked with Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin. According to a report, the North Londoners are after a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor and are prepared to beat Newcastle United to Austin's signature.

Staying with Tottenham for a moment, former Spurs striker and club legend Teddy Sheringham has told Harry Kane that he would be better off remaining at White Hart Lane. The England man has been linked with Manchester United following his goalscoring exploits last season.

Into the Championship now, where Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that Georg Margreitter has left the club. The Austrian defender made just three appearances since moving to Molineux in 2012, and the Midlanders have decided to cancel his contract.

Sticking with Wolverhampton Wanderers, former defender Roger Johnson may very well have found himself a new club. The Englishman is currently training with MLS side Colorado Rapids, and technical director Paul Bravo has revealed that he would be open to signing the centre-back.

BREAKING NEWS! The first big transfer story of the day comes from the North East, where Sunderland have completed a season-long loan move for Yann M'Vila. More on that developing story right here.

DONE DEAL! It is a busy morning in the North East, it appears, as Newcastle United have completed a fifth summer signing of their own. Northampton Town youngster Ivan Toney has joined the Magpies on a long-term deal.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has been speaking to reporters this morning ahead of his side's opening Premier League future. The Spaniard admits that he would like to bring in at least three more new faces this summer, while also offering an update of sorts on the future of John Stones.

DONE DEAL! Some transfer news to bring you from the Championship now, where Bristol City have announced the signing of Ryan Fredericks on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry, who missed the whole of last season through injury, could be on his way to West Bromwich Albion if this report is to be believed.

DONE DEAL! Following his loan spell with Southampton last term, Eljero Elia has now signed a two-year contract with Feyenoord. More details here.

Be honest, it wouldn't be a transfer blog without mentioning Paul Pogba, would it?! The France international has been linked with a number of clubs, but Juventus have given the biggest indication yet that he will be staying in Turin by handing him the number 10 shirt.

He's been linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United this summer, but Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract at Lyon.

DONE DEAL! Port Vale have added a young player with Premier League experience today, as former Newcastle goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has joined the club on a short-term deal.

Some interesting news for Hull City fans from across the pond, as the club have reportedly had a bid turned down by Chicago Fire for former Wigan midfielder Shaun Maloney.

DONE DEAL! At last, Angel di Maria is confirmed as a Paris Saint-Germain player. Bar a few glimmers, it was a hugely underwhelming Premier League campaign for the Argentine after he joined Man United for £60m a year ago.

Some good news for Newcastle United supporters as captain Fabricio Coloccini pens a new contract at St James' Park. All the details are here.

Watford have been ever so busy this summer, but could they be about to make another signing? Read on.

DONE DEAL! Under-embargo Blackburn Rovers complete a deal to sign former Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso, who has lost his way in recent years and was a free agent this summer.

Some transfer news from Barcelona now as one of their youngsters is made available for loan. Maybe Stoke are interested?

Everton have done pretty well to keep their players so far this summer and it sounds like James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas will be signing new contracts at Goodison Park.

BREAKING! A new contract is tied up in South Wales...

After being released by Ipswich Town earlier this summer, veteran midfielder Darren Ambrose has made the short trip down the A12 to sign for Colchester United. More here.

Fulham spent £11m on Kostas Mitroglou and it seems that the flop will be heading out on loan again this season, with Benfica a reported destination.

Joey Barton is without a club following his release by QPR and he might not be moving far from the capital if these reports are to be believed.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy wants to add a versatile defender to his squad before the transfer window closes.

Queens Park Rangers have snapped up former Huddersfield Town midfielder Oscar Gobern on a free transfer after a successful trial.

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with Karim Benzema this summer, and Gunners legend Thierry Henry believes the club can win a first Premier League title since 2004 if they can bring the Real Madrid striker to the Emirates.

Some good news for Everton fans as the club confirms that sought-after midfielder James McCarthy has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with the Toffees.

Alan Pardew has hailed his new Crystal Palace signing and former Newcastle United midfielder as 'world-class' after the Frenchman arrived from Paris Saint-Germain.

DONE DEAL! The ongoing transfer saga involving Mohamed Salah has finally reached a conclusion as the Egyptian winger is loaned out to Serie A outfit Roma.

Bad news for anybody who dreams of seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Premier League in the near future - Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has said that the 33-year-old will not be leaving the club this summer.

Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has reportedly turned down the chance to join Manchester City - it is believed that the Uruguayan will sign an improved contract with the Spanish club.

DONE DEAL! Championship side Burnley have completed the signing of former Manchester United and Derby County midfielder Luke Hendrie on a one-year deal.

Ipswich Town have rewarded Academy defender Josh Emmanuel with a professional two-year deal at Portman Road. The right-back, who signed for the Blues from West Ham United, has featured heavily for his side in pre-season.

DONE DEAL! Fulham striker Konstantinos Mitroglou has joined Benfica on a season-long loan - the 27-year-old moved to Craven Cottage in 2014 from Olympiacos, but made just three appearances as the club were relegated from the Premier League.

DONE DEALS! And both of these have a touch of Italian flavour - Bolton Wanderers have signed Prince-Desir Gouano, a former Juventus defender, from Atalanta, while Azzurri international Alberto Aquilani is now on the books of Sporting Lisbon.

Preston have only gone and signed a certain ex-Manchester United starlet. Click here to reveal the young right-back.

It appears as if John Terry has incurred the wrath of Everton boss Roberto Martinez for publicly backing Chelsea's pursuit of young defender John Stones, with the Spaniard describing Terry's involvement as 'illegal'! More on this here.

Just one more story now, and it's Palace as manager Alan Pardew says that Dwight Gayle will not be sold for less than his reported £10m pricetag. More on this here.
