8.59amMorning all! There are 18 days left before the summer transfer window slams shut. So, what will today bring?

9.18amLet's turn our attention to someone who has been widely linked with a move to Manchester United for some time. Can you guess who it is? Yes, Arturo Vidal. Recent reports have suggested that Javier Hernandez could be used in a player plus £40m cash deal. Today, the Mexican's agent has refused to confirm or deny the speculation, but promises that developments will be made clear soon.

9.46amEverton may have only just sealed the signature of Christian Atsu from Chelsea on a season-long loan, but suggestions of a permanent deal have already come to the surface. However, manager Roberto Martinez has told reporters in today's press conference that he is not considering a long-term stay for the winger.

10.10amIt seemed to be clear that Loic Remy would be leaving Queens Park Rangers this summer, but after his failed move to Liverpool it seems that the Frenchman could be staying put. Harry Redknapp told reporters in today's press conference that he does not want to sell the forward, who spent last season on loan at Newcastle United.

10.33amSticking with Queens Park Rangers and manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Adel Taarabt wants to leave Loftus Road. The midfielder spent six months on loan at AC Milan last season.

11.54amLiverpool have been very busy in the transfer window this summer, but could another signing be on the cards? The Reds are said to be hunting for a new striker following the departure of Luis Suarez, and rumours suggest that Ezequiel Lavezzi could be the man to replace him. Reports have emerged today claiming that the Argentine has rejected a new deal from Paris Saint-German, leaving Liverpool in pole position to seal his signature.

I'll start my three-hour stint this afternoon by bringing you a bombshell from Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has today hinted that he will retire from football in two years' time. The Swedish striker, who is linked with an array of clubs during every transfer window, has enjoyed a hugely successful career to date, but says he does not see himself playing beyond the age of 34.

1.23pmCardiff City are said to be closing in on Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington this afternoon. The 26-year-old is undergoing a medical in South Wales ahead of a move to the Bluebirds, according to reports.

1.37pmReports emerged on Tuesday regarding a £12m bid from Southampton for Hull City striker Shane Long. Steve Bruce has confirmed that an offer has been made, and says that it was simply 'too good to turn down'.

3.36pmThanks Dan! Hello again everyone! Right, let's turn our attention to Tottenham Hotspur now. New manager Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media today and has refused to be drawn on reports that the club are interested in signing Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. The Frenchman is said to be keen on leaving St Mary's for White Hart Lane this summer.

3.44pmSticking with Spurs and striker Harry Kane has signed a new five-year deal at White Hart Lane.

4.23pmLiverpool have been bringing new stars in, but it appears that they have bid farewell to one of their players. Martin Kelly has confirmed on Twitter that he is joining fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.

5.26pmDONE DEAL! Southampton have made their second signing of the day in the form of Romanian defender Florin Gardos. The centre-back has signed a long-term deal at the club. Shane Long moved to St Mary's earlier this afternoon from Hull City.

5.54pmDONE DEAL! It's all happening tonight! Crystal Palace have confirmed that Martin Kelly has joined the club from Liverpool on a three-year deal. More here.

6.32pmDONE DEAL! Manchester City fans, this one is for you. Javi Garcia has left the club after two years at the Etihad Stadium. The Spaniard has joined Zenit St Petersburg for a reported £12m.
