Great Britain have lost their fifth-to-eighth-place semi-final against Argentina 4-3 in the men's seven-a-side football tournament.

The host nation got the first goal of the game courtesy of a strike from Ibz Diallo, who then pushed on with his teammates to claim a second goal through Matt Dimbylow.

The South Americans gave themselves a lifeline before the break after Rodrigo Lugrin's shot found the back of the net and Argentina managed to find the equaliser through Brian Vivot before half-time.

The second half favoured Argentina as Vivot stepped up to complete his hat-trick and put his side into the lead at 4-2.

While ParalympicsGB tried to force through a late upset, Alistair Patrick-Heselton's goal could only be a consolation for the Brits.
