Team News: Tony Pulis makes changes to midfield

Tony Pulis makes changes to his Stoke City team ahead of their trip to Wales to face Swansea City.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has brought Charlie Adam and Glenn Whelan back into his side for the trip to Swansea City.

The midfield duo replace Michael Kightly and Andy Wilkinson, while Asmir Begovic returns in goal after Thomas Sorensen was given a rare start in the FA Cup victory over Crystal Palace.

Michael Laudrup hands starts to Michu, Pablo Hernandez, Ki Sung-Yeung and Itay Shechter following the defeat to Arsenal in midweek.

Garry Monk returns to the Swansea defence and will captain the side as they look to climb further up the table.

Swansea: Vorm, Rangel, Williams, Monk (c), Davies, de Guzman, Ki, Michu, Routledge, Hernandez, Shechter

Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Huth, Shawcross (c), Etherington, Adam, Nzonzi, Whitehead, Whelan, Walters, Crouch
