MK Dons boss Karl Robinson repeats his wish to bring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Bentley to the League One club.

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has repeated his wish to bring Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Bentley to the League One club.

Despite sharing the same agent as the player, Robinson has said that he would only want a loan deal to go through if it suited all parties.

"He knows I want him here, but he's injured for another four weeks, so we'll see," he told MK News. "It helps when you have the same agent, but it's got to be something that works for Tottenham.

"Maybe the lure might be that if we are in the playoffs, he'll get some extra games.

"He's just a gifted footballer. Maybe people will say he's lost his way a little, but I think people have the completely wrong perception of him - he's so talented."

MK Dons are currently fifth in the League One table.
