Adrian Lopez wants Atletico stay

Tottenham Hotspur target Adrian Lopez says that he is ignoring speculation linking him with a move to White Hart Lane and said that he is concentrating on the upcoming Olympic Games.

Atletico Madrid striker Adrian Lopez has dismissed recent speculation surrounding his future at the Vicente Calderon.

The 24-year-old is rumoured to be a £14m target for Tottenham Hotspur, but the Spanish international has now pledged his future to the club.

"I'm very happy at Atletico and, as far as I know, the only negotiations that are open with the club are regarding my contract renewal," said Lopez. "I don't know anything more about any other offers.

"I have a contract with Atleti and I've got three more years here. Now I only want to think about the national team and it isn't the moment to talk about rumours and things that come out in the papers."

Lopez scored 18 goals for Atletico last season.
