Spurs are currently playing at Wembley.

Tottenham will stay at Wembley until at least the end of February as their wait to move into their new stadium goes on.

Spurs' Premier League home games with Watford, Newcastle and Leicester will all be at the national stadium as the finishing touches are put on their 62,000-seater home.

The Champions League last-16 home leg with Borussia Dortmund on February 13 will also be at Wembley.

Chairman Daniel Levy has apologised to fans and hopes to provide a further update in the next few weeks.

Levy said on the club's official website: "I should like to apologise to our fans and thank you for your continued patience.

"The response from those who attended the familiarisation event was great to hear and reinforced our commitment to deliver an exceptional matchday experience for everyone.

"We shall now seek clarity in respect of building test schedules and test event dates and provide further information on these in the next two to three weeks."

The club have also said a potential FA Cup fifth-round home draw over the weekend of February 16-17 would be played at the national stadium.

"In order to reduce the inconvenience to fans, the three Premier League matches will be refunded in one transaction and similarly all three games can be purchased together in one transaction," Tottenham confirmed in a statement on the club website.

"All three matches will be Category C pricing from the 2017/18 season. The 51,000 capacity cap will apply for these fixtures."

Tottenham, who beat Chelsea 1-0 in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final at Wembley on Tuesday night, are working with contractors and Haringey Council to determine a schedule for further testing and sign-offs, including the official test events at their new state-of-the-art stadium.

The north London club were originally due to move in for the start of the new season before putting that back to September.

Tottenham have an agreement with Wembley to stay there for the rest of the campaign if necessary.

However, Spurs remain confident that they will move into their own ground this season – with the home game against Crystal Palace in the middle of March a potential date if there are no further major setbacks.

UEFA said in a statement in would "remain in close contact" with Tottenham "to assess the possibility of the club hosting UEFA competition matches in their new stadium this season", should they progress in the Champions League.
