Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly speaking to five different managers as they attempt to find a successor to Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened discussions with as many as five different candidates for the club's managerial position.

Chairman Daniel Levy has been left frustrated in the search for a successor to Jose Mourinho, who was removed from his position two months ago.

Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca and Gennaro Gattuso were all close to arriving at the North London club before their respective moves broke down during the closing stages.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Levy is now speaking to five managers, including Ajax boss Erik ten Hag and out-of-work Ralf Rangnick and Ernesto Valverde.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Romano suggested that Levy wants to make a final decision by the end of the week, aware that decisions need to be made regarding next season's squad.

Under the guidance of caretaker boss Ryan Mason, Spurs ended the last campaign with four wins and three defeats.
