England and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker has revealed that this month's European Championships will be very "fulfilling" for the former West Ham United captain.
The 31-year-old will compete in his first major tournament for the Three Lions following his first cap in 2003 and the midfielder has claimed that he can't wait to get started.
"I can't remember my last tournament," said Parker. "It is probably the European Under-21 Championships but they are so long ago I can't even remember how we did.
"It is a massive gap that's for sure, so this tournament will be a very fulfilling experience in my career. It means everything really. It is all I ever wanted as a player and something I am really looking forward to."
Meanwhile, England have touched down in Poland ahead of their opening group fixture against France on Monday.
