Real Madrid's Alvaro Arbeloa predicts that Barcelona's La Liga dominance is now over.

Real Madrid's Alvaro Arbeloa has predicted that rivals Barcelona will fall into decline after his side beat them to this season's La Liga title.

Los Blancos were crowned champions following yesterday's 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao, giving them a seven-point lead over the Catalan giants with two games remaining.

Former Liverpool man Arbeloa has since told XL Weekly that he believes Barcelona's domestic dominance is over.

"I think this is our moment. I will say this phrase [to Barcelona], 'Your days of glory will soon come to an end'," he said.

Real Madrid will play their penultimate game in La Liga this weekend when they visit Granada.
