Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Eibar

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Real Madrid will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when they travel to Eibar on Saturday.

Zinedine Zidane's side have won three of their last four in all competitions, including a thumping 6-0 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos were held to a goalless draw by Real Betis in La Liga last weekend, although the capital giants are level on points with league leaders Barcelona heading into the next set of domestic matches.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Marco Asensio faces a battle to play again this season after suffering a serious knee injury during the team's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign. A timeframe on his return has not yet been set by the club.

Possible return date: Unknown

Nacho could miss the rest of 2019 after picking up a knee injury during the recent Champions League clash with Club Brugge. The versatile defender's return has been pencilled in for the end of December.

Gareth Bale

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 9 (vs. Eibar)

Gareth Bale picked up a calf problem during Wales's Euro 2020 qualifier with Croatia last month, which has seen him miss Madrid's last five matches in all competitions. The issue is not thought to be serious, but the attacker remains a doubt for this weekend's La Liga contest.

James Rodriguez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: November 9 (vs. Eibar)

James Rodriguez has missed Madrid's last three matches with a muscular problem. The attacker was recently allowed to return to Colombia following the birth of his second child, although a muscular issue is expected to see him miss out on the chance to return to action this weekend.

Marcelo
