Half-Time Report: Cristiano Ronaldo fires Real Madrid ahead

Real Madrid lead Valencia 2-1 at half time in this evening's La Liga encounter at the Mestalla.

Cristiano Ronaldo has fired Real Madrid into a 2-1 lead over Valencia at half time in this evening's clash at the Mestalla.

Los Blancos took the lead in the 28th minute thanks to a fine effort from Angel di Maria, but that advantage did not lost long as Pablo Piatti equalised five minutes later.

The Argentine climbed above Sergio Ramos to bury a header past Julio Cesar.

However, Carlo Ancelotti's men lead at the break courtesy of a header from the Portuguese forward, although the ball was served on a plate by Di Maria.
