Philadelphia Union snatch late victory at PPL Park

Union leave it late at PPL Park
Philadelphia Union keep their MLS playoff dreams alive with a late 1-0 victory over Toronto FC.

A late Kleberson free kick has snatched all three points for 10-man Philadelphia Union in tonight's match with Toronto FC at PPL Park.

The former Manchester United man curled the ball beyond Joe Bendik in the fifth minute of injury time to help keep his team's playoff dream alive.

Antoine Hoppenot and Robert Earnshaw had both hit the woodwork in the second half, before Fabinho was shown a red card for reacting to a foul by Alvaro Rey.

That meant the hosts played the final 17 minutes a man down, but Reggie Lambe's foul on Hoppenot saw Kleberson step up to seal a dramatic late victory, which moves them two points clear of sixth-placed Chicago Fire.

Meanwhile, the visitors are cut adrift at the bottom of the division along with DC United.
