Norwich City injury, suspension list ahead of their first game back

Sports Mole rounds up Norwich City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their first match back after lockdown, expected to be a game with Southampton.

While Norwich City are favourites to suffer relegation from the Premier League, Daniel Farke will feel that the enforced break could prove beneficial.

The Canaries currently sit in last place, six points adrift of three teams who occupy positions between 16th and 18th, and it sets up a scenario where Farke's side can get back into the mix with a sixth win of the season.

Their first game back is due to be against Southampton, opposition who could get brought back into a battle for survival if they are not up to speed for the restart.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Norwich's injury and suspension news ahead of the meeting with the Saints, likely to be on June 20.

Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Back in February, Farke ruled Sam Byram out for the reason after he underwent surgery on a thigh injury. Although the right-back remains out of contention, he should still have a part to play in the run-in.
