Barcelona midfielder Alex Song is reportedly nearing a six-month loan deal to Italian side Napoli.
The Cameroon international moved to Camp Nou from Arsenal in 2012, but has struggled to command a first-team spot with the Catalan outfit.
His former club and Manchester United have both been linked with moves, but according to Sport Mediaset, Napoli lead the queue of interested parties.
The same report suggests that Barcelona are not prepared to permanently part with his services in January, but will sanction a loan move before his long-term future is discussed at the end of the season.
