Manchester United to battle three Premier League clubs for Erling Braut Haaland?

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all want to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are all reportedly keen on signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland during this summer's transfer window.

The Norway international has again been in excellent form for BVB during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 27 times in 27 appearances in all competitions.

Haaland will have a £65m release clause in his contract from summer 2022, but there have been suggestions that the forward could be sold in the upcoming market due to Dortmund's financial troubles.

Man United continue to be strongly linked with the 20-year-old amid suggestions that the club want to bring a new striker to the club for the 2021-22 campaign.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, the Red Devils could face competition from Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea, although a number of other clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, are also thought to be interested.

Haaland, who has more than three years left to run on his contract at Signal Iduna Park, has scored 43 goals in 45 appearances for Dortmund since arriving from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.
