Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Mexico midfielder Hector Herrera.
The 22-year-old, who was part of the nation's gold medal-winning side at this summer's London Olympics, has been the subject of an official approach by the Red Devils, according to Pachuca sporting director Andres Fassi.
"There is an official interest," explained Fassi. "We have the document, but there's nothing else to add at this time."
Fassi claimed in April that Liverpool were leading the race for the player's signature.
