David Stockdale believes Fulham can cause an upset against United

David Stockdale believes Fulham can cause an upset against Manchester United on Wednesday.

Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale has said that he believes his side can get something from Manchester United on Wednesday.

Fulham have a tough run of games coming up in the league with Arsenal, Chelsea and United all on the horizon.

Stockdale is confident Fulham can cause an upset after their win over Bolton at weekend.

"It will be difficult [to get some momentum] because Manchester United are up next, but there are a lot of positives to take," said Stockdale.

"We knew the league was tight and three points makes tonight's table look a lot better. Make no mistake, this was a massive win for us and now we just want to kick on.

"We've done well against United in the past, so hopefully that will be the case again."

Fulham currently lie in 11th place in the league.
