Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski has revealed that he turned down the chance to sign for Manchester City this summer.
The 27-year-old, who signed a new long-term deal with the German outfit in June, has also insisted that the thought of leaving did not enter his mind.
"Dortmund simply had the advantage over Manchester City," Blaszczykowski told Przeglad Sportowy.
"We have a great squad, fantastic manager, incredible supporters and a very bright future ahead of us.
"In Dortmund, me and my family have everything we need. I did not pursue interest from other clubs in my services."
Blaszczykowski scored 14 goals for Dortmund last season.
