Tuesday's Champions League predictions including Malmo vs. Rangers

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Champions League fixtures, including Malmo vs. Rangers.

Malmo vs. Rangers (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

After starting their title defence with a win at the weekend, Rangers now get their Champions League campaign underway with a testing trip to Swedish champions Malmo on Tuesday.

While the Allsvenskan leaders scraped through to the third qualifying round with narrow wins over Riga and HJK Helsinki, Steven Gerrard's side enter the running at this juncture - just two steps away from the hallowed group stage.

We say: Malmo 2-2 Rangers

Not only did Rangers demonstrate that they are now back in business in the league last term, but they also impressed on the continent - and can do so again at the Eleda Stadion.

Malmo, though, have started their season with a flurry of goals, so there is likely to be no shortage of final-third action on Tuesday night. Conceding in the first leg should prove less of a concern now that the away goals rule has been scrapped, and a score draw would set up a humdinger at Ibrox next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sparta Prague will welcome Monaco to Letna Stadium on Tuesday evening, with both sides looking to secure a first-leg advantage in their Champions League third qualifying round contest.

Monaco qualified for this stage after placing third in Ligue 1 last term, while Sparta recorded a 3-2 aggregate victory over Rapid Vienna in the second qualifying round of this season's competition.

We say: Sparta Prague 0-1 Monaco

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Genk vs. Shakhtar (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Finally deposed as Ukrainian champions last season, Shakhtar Donetsk return to the Champions League qualifying rounds with a tie against Belgium's Genk on Tuesday.

Having impressed in a group featuring Real Madrid and Inter Milan last term, their ambitions have been renewed under new management, while the hosts missed out on Europe entirely last year and are keen to rejoin the elite.

We say: Genk 1-2 Shakhtar Donetsk

The combination of numerous years worth of European experience and an exciting new regime in the dugout should take Shakhtar to a first-leg lead on Tuesday, in a game that could flow end to end.

Genk's slow start to the season has already put them on the back foot, so if they can stay within a goal of their Ukrainian counterparts ahead of next week's second leg, that may not be the worst of results.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

PSV Eindhoven will welcome FC Midtjylland to the Netherlands on Tuesday evening, as the pair lock horns in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Both sides, who impressed in the last round, will be looking to secure an advantage at Philips Stadion ahead of the second leg of the European contest in Denmark on August 10.

We say: PSV Eindhoven 2-1 FC Midtjylland

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

CFR Cluj vs. Young Boys (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Seeking to take one step closer to the glittering prize of Champions League group-stage football, Romanian champions CFR Cluj take on their Swiss counterparts Young Boys on Tuesday.

While the hosts progressed to this third qualifying round with serene ease last week, their visitors were made to sweat as they overcame Slovan Bratislava 3-2 on aggregate.

We say: CFR Cluj 1-2 Young Boys

Expect an open encounter on Tuesday, as the visitors favour the front foot and Cluj are unlikely to sit back and soak up pressure on home turf - particularly with the threat of 'away goals' now a relic of the past.

While the home side have hit their straps of late, Young Boys will prove a significant step up in class, so the Romanian champs may find themselves with a first-leg deficit to overcome when they journey to Berne next week.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Red Star Belgrade will be looking to make use of home advantage when they welcome Sheriff Tiraspol for the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round contest on Tuesday night.

The hosts thumped Kairat 6-2 in the second qualifying round, while Sheriff have overcome both Teuta Durres and Alashkert to book their spot at this stage of the 2021-22 competition.

We say: Red Star Belgrade 2-0 Sheriff Tiraspol

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Olympiacos will be looking to secure a first-leg advantage in their Champions League third qualifying round contest when they host Ludogorets Razgrad on Tuesday night.

The Greek outfit recorded a 2-0 aggregate win over Neftchi Baku in the last round of the competition, while Ludogorets have beaten Shakhtyor Soligorsk and Mura to advance to this stage.

We say: Olympiacos 2-1 Ludogorets Razgrad

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
