Liverpool planning £7m Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu bid in January?

Liverpool look prepared to make a £7m bid for Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, according to a report.

Liverpool could be looking to bolster their defensive strength in midfield by attempting to sign Udinese prospect Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, according to a report.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has recently lamented his squad's lack of depth, with The Metro reporting that the signing of the 23-year-old Nigerian holding player could be one way of addressing such an issue.

It is believed that Liverpool are prepared to bid £7m for the player, who has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League.

Liverpool are not the only English club to hold an interest in the Udinese man, however, with both Arsenal and Chelsea thought to have already scouted Agyemang-Badu.
