Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture with West Bromwich Albion.

Liverpool will be aiming to give their top-four hopes another boost when they travel to relegated West Bromwich Albion for Sunday's Premier League encounter.

Jurgen Klopp's side came out on top in a six-goal thriller with Manchester United on Thursday night, as Roberto Firmino bagged a brace while Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah also struck in a 4-2 win.

The Reds have since leapfrogged West Ham United into fifth and sit four points behind Chelsea - who have played a game more - in the final Champions League spot.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's game.

Possible return date: Unknown

There was initial optimism that Jordan Henderson may have been able to recover from a groin injury in time for this game, but Klopp has now ruled the midfielder out of Liverpool's remaining fixtures this season.

Joe Gomez continues to make good progress in his recovery from a serious knee injury, but the defender is not expected to return in time for Liverpool's final few games.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Virgil van Dijk is another centre-back making strides in his recovery from an ACL injury, but the Netherlands international has now ruled himself out of this summer's Euros.

Ozan Kabak

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: Unknown

Ozan Kabak's muscular problem was serious enough to keep him out of the Southampton and Man United wins, and given the quick turnaround in fixtures, a comeback this weekend is unlikely.

James Milner

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: May 16 (vs. West Brom)

Veteran midfielder James Milner was nowhere to be seen against Man United as he nurses a knock, and he is facing a race to be fit in time for Sunday's game.

Naby Keita

The injury-plagued Naby Keita also missed the trip to Old Trafford due to a knock, and it remains to be seen if the luckless midfielder will recover in time to face the Baggies.

Ben Davies
