Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers 'frustrated' after Norwich City draw

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers rues his side's missed chances during their 1-1 draw with Norwich City.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he was left 'disappointed and frustrated' by his side's 1-1 draw with Norwich City in the Premier League.

The Reds boss drew positives from his team's performance but was left ruing their missed chances after the game.

"It is disappointing and frustrating not to get the three points. We didn't pass the ball well in the first half but second half we created more opportunities," BBC Sport quotes Rodgers as saying.

"We had chances to win the game but didn't take them. Our supporters were brilliant and sensed the shackles were lifted from the players after the opening goal.

"But you have got to be clinical and we didn't take those chances. In terms of numbers it's not so good but for me it's all about the performance."

The draw leaves Liverpool in 13th place in the Premier League table.
