Victor Anichebe has warned Liverpool that Everton are in confident mood heading into this weekend's FA Cup semi-final.
The Toffees have been in good form recently, which has seen them overtake their city rivals into seventh place in the Premier League.
"I don't think its revenge [we are looking for]," Anichebe said. "I think when we go into the game, the best team will win on the day. Whether it is us or them we are going in confident.
"We're playing great, look where we are in the league. We're rising. It's our typical end of season finish but hopefully on the day we can stand up and be counted and do everyone proud."
Anichebe scored in the Blues' 4-0 win over Sunderland yesterday.
