Team News: Glen Johnson, Joe Allen return for Liverpool

Liverpool make five changes for their FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Bolton Wanderers as Glen Johnson and Joe Allen return from injuries.

Glen Johnson and Joe Allen have both been named in the Liverpool starting XI for their FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Bolton Wanderers this evening after overcoming injuries.

Adam Lallana, who featured as a second-half substitute in Tuesday's League Cup semi-final first-leg 1-1 draw with Chelsea, also makes his first start since the turn of the year as Brendan Rodgers makes five changes to his side.

There is no place in the matchday squad for captain Steven Gerrard or Mario Balotelli, who have both been rested for the tie.

Meanwhile, Bolton have made three changes for their trip to Anfield. Eidur Gudjohnsen has come into the side to partner former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey in attack, while Adam Bogdan and Dean Moxey also come into the starting XI.

Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Can, Sakho; Manquillo, Allen, Henderson, Enrique; Coutinho, Lallana; Sterling

Bolton: Bogdan, Moxey, Mills, Ream, Dervite, Vela, Danns, Pratley, Feeney, Gudjohnsen, Heskey
