Half-Time Report: Leeds United frustrate Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town and Leeds United are level at the break despite the home side's dominance in the first half.

Huddersfield Town are being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United in the Championship this afternoon.

Huddersfield improved after conceding an early goal and Mark Robins will feel that his side deserve the lead.

The visitors couldn't have wished for a better start, taking the lead inside two minutes when Smith headed home from Alex Mowatt's corner.

The big striker continued to cause problems in the early stages for Huddersfield, taking the ball down on his chest and firing it straight at the goalkeeper moments later.

Town found their response quickly though, as Danny Ward picked the ball up just outside the box following a corner, and fired it into the top corner.

The hosts continued to improve after that with Adam Hammill becoming more and more involved. The winger produced two impressive deliveries from set pieces, before a curling effort from the edge of the box was tipped over.

Ward then almost got his second, poking the ball just wide from a corner after good play between Keith Southern and Duane Holmes.

However, Leeds held firm and the sides went in level at the break.
