Lecce and Cesena fought to a goalless draw in their Serie A relegation battle this afternoon.
Chances were at a premium throughout the first half, as neither strikeforce could find a way past their opponents' defence.
This continued throughout much of the second half too as both sides battled to grab the game by the scruff of the neck in what could prove to be a pivotal game in the relegation fight.
The lack of firepower was a sign of why both teams are struggling at the bottom, and the draw does neither team many favours.
Lecce remain 18th in the table, now five points off safety, while Cesena stay rock bottom with relegation looking inevitable.
