Preview: Bolton Wanderers vs. Fulham

Sports Mole previews Fulham's trip to the Macron Stadium to play Bolton Wanderers.

Bolton Wanderers host Fulham on Tuesday night having failed to record a victory in their previous five games in all competitions.

The Trotters produced two excellent displays against Liverpool in the FA Cup, only succumbing to two late goals in the replay when they had 10 men, but boss Neil Lennon will be concerned after conceding 10 goals in three league showings.

Lennon has done superbly to help Wanderers move away from the bottom three but their recent poor form has left them with just a seven-point gap above the relegation zone.

Striker Eidur Gudjohnsen could be recalled after dropping to the bench against Derby County, while Filip Twardzik may start after netting as a substitute against the Rams.

Fulham travel to the North-West as a team very much on the up under Kit Symons, but four games without a win in all competitions has derailed their ambitions in both league and cup.

Symons is still optimistic that the Cottagers can force their way into the top six but they must bring to an end their three-game losing streak on the road.

Despite only drawing with Birmingham City at the weekend, the Welshman was impressed with his team's performance and that could be enough for him to retain the same starting lineup.

However, he will be keen to see more of his squad contribute goals, with only Hugo Rodallega and Ross McCormack scoring in their last five outings.

Bolton Wanderers:

Form in Championship: LDWLDL
Form in all competitions: WDLDLL

Possible starting lineup: Lonergan, Feeney, Wheater, Dervite, Ream, Moxey, Twardzik, Vela, Gudjohnsen, Clough, Le Fondre

Fulham:

Form in Championship: LLWWLD
Form in all competitions: WWDLLD

Possible starting lineup: Bettinelli, Richards, Hutchinson, Bodurov, Stafylidis, Tunnicliffe, Christensen, Fofana, Kacaniklic, Rodallega, McCormack

Sports Mole says: 1-1
