Team News: Andre Wisdom handed Derby County debut

Derby County boss Steve McClaren hands a debut to Liverpool loanee Andre Wisdom for the visit of Birmingham City in the Championship today.

Derby County manager Steve McClaren has handed a debut to new signing Andre Wisdom for the visit of Birmingham City at Pride Park this afternoon.

The versatile defender, 20, completed a season-long loan move to the Rams from Liverpool on Tuesday and has gone straight into the team for the clash with Lee Clark's men.

McClaren names a total of three changes from the 2-3 victory over Watford last week, with Tottenham Hotspur loanee Simon Dawkins among those handed a starting berth.

Meanwhile, Clark has named a total of four changes to his team for the trip to the East Midlands.

Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard, who has hit five goals for the Blues this term, drops out of the team having sustained a knee injury in the 4-0 defeat to Leeds United last Sunday.

Nikola Zigic will deputise for the youngster as the spearhead of Birmingham's attack, on what is to be the Serbian's 100th league appearance for the club since joining from Valencia in 2010.

Derby County: Grant; Wisdom, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth; Bryson, Eustace, Hughes, Ward; Dawkins, Martin

Birmingham City: Randolph; Caddis, Burn, Robinson, Murphy; Reilly, Elliot; Burke, Shinnie, Ferguson; Zigic
