Stevenage's Charlie Lee and Chris Whelpdale score second-half goals to win away at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Charlie Lee and Chris Whelpdale both scored for Stevenage to condemn Dagenham & Redbridge to a home defeat this afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, it only took five minutes after the restart for Stevenage to take the lead as Lee finished neatly on the six-yard box after being found by Dean Wells.

Whelpdale doubled Stevenage's lead 15 minutes after Lee's opener, as the ball was forced across the box from Dean Parrett for the midfielder to finish off.

Stevenage move up to 10th in the table after their first away victory in 16 attempts in the league.
