Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku wants to continue his loan spell with West Bromwich Albion beyond the January transfer window.

Loanee Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he would like to stay at West Bromwich Albion for the remainder of the season.

Recent reports had suggested that the 19-year-old's parent club Chelsea could recall him during the January transfer window to help lift some of the goalscoring burden off of Fernando Torres.

However, the Belgian striker has revealed that a return to Stamford Bridge would not interest him at this present moment in time.

"I'd like to stay here for the rest of the season and there's no question about that," he wrote on Twitter.

Lukaku struck late as West Brom defeated Norwich City 2-1 at the Hawthorns yesterday afternoon.
