Wolves striker Kevin Doyle hopes that his side can beat a struggling Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle is hoping that his side can inflict more damage to Chelsea in their match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues' Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday was their fifth defeat in six games.

"It will be difficult but we've got a reasonably good record against the top sides," Doyle told reporters.

"It is games like this, when people least expect us to get anything, that we sometimes pick something up.

"I don't think we've ever been overawed by this sort of challenge. More often than not we've actually risen to the challenge and perhaps played better than normal."

The Midlands side are currently 17th in the Premier League table, while Chelsea occupy fifth.
