Michel Vorm: 'We can kill Chelsea at home'

Michel Vorm is targeting a creditable result for Swansea City in London, so they can "kill" Chelsea in the return leg of their League Cup semi-final.

Michel Vorm has suggested that if Swansea City could "kill" Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium if they can get a good result in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final.

Swansea travel to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night and Vorm is backing his teammates to get a creditable result.

The Dutch goalkeeper insisted that he is ready to give everything in order to make it to a cup final.

"A team like Swansea are not really going to be playing for the Championship so to be close to a final, we are close to winning a prize," said Vorm.

"We really have to give everything so we can get a good result. Hopefully we can get a draw or a small defeat [at Stamford Bridge] and then we can kill them at home.

"We are hard to beat, especially away from home. In London we have beaten Arsenal, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers, so that's positive."

Swansea go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup against Arsenal on Sunday.
