According to a report, Luis Suarez will apologise to Branislav Ivanovic tonight for biting the Chelsea defender in this afternoon's draw at Anfield.

Luis Suarez will reportedly apologise to Branislav Ivanovic tonight after appearing to bite the defender in Liverpool's draw with Chelsea this afternoon.

The Football Association confirmed earlier that they would be looking into the incident.

According to Press Association Sport, though, the Uruguayan will apologise to Ivanovic tonight.

The referee did not react to the incident that was subsequently picked up by television cameras.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez insisted that he did not see the altercation in his post-match interview, while Reds boss Brendan Rodgers condemned any such behaviour before admitting that he would have to review what had happened.
