Celtic 'seeking Christian Atsu loan deal'

In-demand Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is a reported target for Celtic.

Celtic are reportedly eyeing up a loan deal for Chelsea winger Christian Atsu.

The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to Premier League duo West Ham United and Aston Villa, as well as Hamburg and Espanyol, is expected to temporarily leave Stamford Bridge to gain more experience next season.

A report in the Daily Mail claims that Celtic are hopeful that the possibility of playing Champions League football could sway the player's decision to join.

Atsu started all three of Ghana's World Cup games, but was powerless to stop his nation exiting the showpiece tournament at the group stage.
