Relive Sports Mole's live coverage of Bayern Munich's 3-2 victory over Chelsea in the International Champions Cup.

Bayern Munich have ran out 3-2 winners over Chelsea in their International Champions Cup fixture on Tuesday.

The Bundesliga giants dominated the opening half hour and they deserved to be three goals to the good thanks to a long-range strike from Rafinha and a double from Thomas Muller.

Chelsea got back into the match through efforts from Marcos Alonso and Michy Batshuayi, but they could not force an equaliser during the closing stages.

Read below to see how the action unfolded in Singapore.

11.31amHello, and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the match in the International Champions Cup between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

11.35amAnother day, another match in the International Champions Cup. That's the way things seem to work for a couple of weeks in July and that's no different today as Chelsea take on Bayern Munich in Singapore. The Blues have used social medial to remind supporters that it is just over five years since they defeated the German giants in the Champions League final and although we will not have the same drama as that famous evening at the Allianz Arena, we should still have quite the spectacle in Asia.

11.38amThis fixture could also be regarded as the Carlo Ancelotti derby. The Italian boss made a name for himself at Stamford Bridge by winning the Premier League and FA Cup double in his first campaign before he was sacked at the conclusion of his second year. He has since gone on to enjoy success with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but he now has the task of continuing Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga. Despite it being six years since he left West London, Chelsea supporters have fond memories of the 58-year-old and are sure to give him a warm reception when he takes his place in the dugout.

11.42amWe are still awaiting some team news from Singapore but one thing we do know is that Alvaro Morata will only be on the bench. Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has already stated that while the Spaniard will be involved at some stage, he will not throw him straight into action less than a week after completing his move from Real Madrid.

11.43amAh now we have some team news, from Chelsea anyway. That will be with you shortly...

11.44amCHELSEA XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Batshuayi, Boga

11.50amAt least Conte stuck to his word about Morata or else one of the previous posts would have been a complete waste of time.

As expected, the Blues boss names a strong starting lineup, with only David Luiz and Pedro missing from what you would consider to be Chelsea's first XI at this stage. Pedro is missing after he suffered "multiple fractures" after a collision with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina on Saturday. The injury gives a chance to Jeremie Boga, who is looking to make an impression with the first team, while Andreas Christensen features in a three-man defence after completing a two-year loan with Borussia Monchengladbach.

11.52amBAYERN MUNICH XI: Starke, Rafinha, Hummels, Martinez, Friedl, Tolisso, Sanches, Ribery, Muller, Rodriguez, Lewandowski

11.57amBayern were humiliated by AC Milan in their last fixture but Ancelotti has named a very strong lineup for the game against his former side. The majority of the big guns feature in attack, although Bayern must again call upon retired goalkeeper Tom Starke to fill in between the sticks. Renato Sanches starts - despite talk of a loan move to Manchester United or AC Milan - while Marco Friedl gets an opportunity in defence.

12.02pmHEAD TO HEAD! This may only be a friendly, but we are going to look at the head-to-head record anyway. In the past, there have been four competitive fixtures between the teams with both clubs registering two victories apiece. The last meeting came in the 2013 UEFA Super Cup final when they played out a 2-2 draw before Bayern emerged victorious 5-4 on penalties. The only miss came from Romelu Lukaku and if I remember rightly, it represented his last ever contribution in a Chelsea shirt.

12.07pmChelsea have taken a different approach to pre-season this year. This is actually just their second official match but they did thrash Fulham in a behind-closed-doors friendly before they made the trip to Asia. However, they showed no signs of rust in a clinical performance over Arsenal on Saturday. The Gunners were competing in their fourth match but they looked levels below Chelsea, who had Willian and Michy Batshuayi both get on the scoresheet. With Bayern conceding four themselves on the same day, it will be interesting to see if they can do anything to withstand a vibrant Chelsea side when they game gets underway in just over half-an-hour.

12.12pmTalking of Batshuayi, there is still speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge but based on his record in a Chelsea shirt, it seems crazy. While he played second fiddle to Diego Costa throughout last season, his goals-per-minute ratio was superb and he showed on Saturday how much he wants to impress his boss with two fine finishes against the Gunners. If reports are to be believed, Conte wants to bring in Fernando Llorente, but many Chelsea fans would like to see him given the chance during the upcoming campaign.

12.20pmThis match arguably holds importance to Bayern than it does to Chelsea. On paper, this should be the period where Bayern start to improve in Ancelotti's second season in charge but they have shown weaknesses against both Arsenal and AC Milan. The 4-0 defeat to AC Milan would have been a particularly humbling experience and from a mentality standpoint, they cannot afford to lose by a similar scoreline to Chelsea. It would be easy to look at Bayern having to use 36-year-old Starke in goal, but they have still only netted one goal in their last two matches at the other end of the pitch.

12.24pmBack to Chelsea, and if social media is anything to go by, fans are excited to see Boga start in a front three alongside Willian and Batshuayi. The 20-year-old Frenchman is yet to make a first-team appearance for the West Londoners but he has spent the last two years gaining experience with both Rennes and Granada. He featured on 26 occasions in La Liga during the most recent campaign and while the cynics among us all will expect him to become another Chelsea youngster to be loaned out before the end of August, he is one of the few who stand a chance of remaining in and around the first-team picture.

12.27pmWill this guy get a run out in the second half? We are assuming so. Antonio Rudiger could prove to be an excellent replacement for John Terry should he fulfil his potential at the Blues.

12.33pmIt's time for the two teams to make their way out onto the pitch at the Singapore National Stadium. They received a brilliant welcome. You get the impression that the fans have been looking forward to this one!

1 minChelsea get us underway.

3 minIt has been a decent start from Chelsea who - like against Arsenal - have wasted no time in going onto the offensive. They probably smell weakness in the Bayern defence.

5 minThis may be "only a friendly" but there have been a few fouls in the early stages. Fabregas was apologetic after fouling Sanches before Azpilicueta upended Ribery.

6 minGOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Bayern Munich (Rafinha)

6 minWell that wasn't in the script. Bayern take the lead through Rafinha, who has just four goals from 201 appearances for the German club. He was allowed to advance towards goal before letting fly with a 30-yard strike which finds the back of Courtois's net via the post.

9 minChelsea are still having the better of the play, but that goal would have disappointed Conte. His defenders sat off a player, presumably due to his goalscoring record, while Courtois could have potentially done better with the strike.

11 minGOAL! Chelsea 0-2 Bayern Munich (Muller)

12 minConte will no longer be disappointed - he will be furious. Bayern double their lead and we have just 12 minutes on the clock. Ribery did superbly to reach the byline before standing a cross up for Muller to volley home at the back post.

15 minBayern are starting to take over now, while Chelsea are looking increasingly ragged. There's no composure in the middle of the park and Bayern look like taking Chelsea apart once they get into the final third.

19 minCHANCE! The German side have got some deal with Rodriguez. A two-year loan for one of the best players in the world is a huge bonus for them and he is looking every bit the star player he has established himself as over the last few years.

Only some good defending from Chelsea prevented him from setting up another Bayern chance but soon afterwards, he drilled a shot over Courtois's bar when he probably should have hit the target.

23 minChelsea would have had high hopes of making quick inroads against a Bayern team seemingly low on confidence but they are being outclassed. You would have expected Chelsea to have at least tested Starke in the Bayern goal, but that just hasn't happened.

25 minSHOT! That's a bit more encouraging from Chelsea. Willian and Boga combine on the edge of the box before the Brazilian drags a shot wide of the post.

26 minGOAL! Chelsea 0-3 Bayern Munich (Muller)

27 minMy word. Now it's 3-0. What is going on?! Muller advances forward before curling a delightful effort past Courtois from 25 yards out. It's a stunning goal, but the scoreline is equally disastrous for Chelsea.

30 minBOOKING! Is this a sign of frustration from Chelsea? Probably. Moses goes into the book for a late challenge on Friedl. It also leads to a water break, which Chelsea need.

34 minCHANCE! Maybe that was the break which Chelsea needed? Maybe if they get a goal before half time, it's game on?

I'm exaggerating but you never know. Fabregas releases Boga with a long ball over the top but Starke is quick off his line for a 36-year-old veteran in semi-retirement to make the block.

38 minIt's fair to say that Conte had a few stern words with his players during that break, and they have come out rejuvenated. Boga inparticular is looking keen and managed to win a free kick on the edge of the box. However, Willian's effort struck the wall.

42 minSHOT! Willian is playing a key role in this Chelsea resurgence and he links up well with Alonso to give his teammate a chance to contemplate a shot on goal. He cuts inside onto his weaker foot to create an opening for himself but his shot doesn't possess the power required and is off target anyway.

44 minCHANCES! Where was this Chelsea in the opening 30 minutes? Firstly, Batshuayi forces a solid stop out of Starke with a low left-foot drive, before Cahill sends a header narrowly off-target.

45+2 minGOAL! Chelsea 1-3 Bayern Munich (Alonso)

45+2 minGame on, maybe? Moses gets down the right flank and crosses for his opposite number, who lashes a shot into the net. It's a terrific finish and just what Chelsea needed before the break.

45+3 minHALF TIME: Chelsea 1-3 Bayern Munich

1.28pmThe half-time whistle goes in Singapore and what a 45 minutes it has been! Bayern deservedly hold a clear lead but Chelsea probably deserve their goal for their response before the break. Don't write them off just yet.

1.42pmThe players have made their way out for the second half. There's been just the one change - Kingsley Coman for Lewandowski.

46 minBayern get us back underway.

48 minNaturally, Chelsea look much tighter at the start of this second half than they did at the beginning of the first. Conte is placing much more emphasis on defence and because of that, very little has happened.

54 minWe are yet to see much action since the restart. It may be a case that some of the players are tiring and we have only had one alteration, but it may also be a result of how open the first half was.

57 minCHANCE! Nearly a fourth for Bayern. Friedl - who has done little wrong at left-back - gets down the flank before delivering a cross for Rodriguez but he sent his header just past the post.

60 minBayern are well and truly back into their stride now and only a timely block from Cahill prevents Rodriguez from netting. If Chelsea fans want to be positive, at least this may encourage the club to back their head coach in the transfer market over the coming weeks.

63 minSUBSTITUTIONS! It's Morata time. The club-record signing has been introduced for Boga, while David Luiz is on for Andreas Christensen.

Gotze and Pantovic have also been introduced for Bayern.

67 minThere had been signs that the action had been starting to warm up again, but it has dulled down since the replacements. I expect that to be a common theme over the next quarter-of-an-hour.

70 minCHANCES! I'm not too sure how Rodriguez hasn't score in this game. Two more opportunities go abegging but you have to credit Courtois for the second. Firstly, the Colombian international sent an effort wide of the far post, before the Blues stopper made a brilliant save to deny him from much closer to goal.

72 minFinally, a response from Chelsea. Batshuayi should probably score when the ball is sent towards him across goal but he can't get a full contact on the ball.

74 minCHANCES! Willian has been quieter during the second half but he gets back into things after picking up a pass from Batshuayi, only to fire off target.

Moments after that, Luiz saw a deflected effort strike the woodwork! Both these teams have put together pressure in bursts, but haven't been able to sustain it. Expect Bayern to go on the offensive now...

74 minBOOKING! Easy decision for the referee as he gives a yellow card to Alonso for a blatant pull of Coman's shirt.

76 minSHOT! Maybe that Bayern response will wait a bit longer. Batshuayi looks eager to get on the scoresheet but he drags a shot wide of Starke's post.

80 minJust the 10 minutes to go in Singapore now. I can't see Chelsea getting back on level terms but they are still showing enough ambition to suggest that they fancy their chances of netting a second.

82 minCHANCE! This would have been some way to mark his entrance. Tomori hasn't long entered the action but the wing-back almost scores at the far post with a header after meeting Moses's delivery.

85 minGOAL! Chelsea 2-3 Bayern Munich (Batshuayi)

85 minNow then, we still have a game on in front of 48,000 supporters in Singapore. A cross from Fabregas is flicked into the path of Batshuayi by Morata, and the Belgian can't miss from close range.

90 minThere will be four minutes of added-on time.

90+4 minFULL TIME: Chelsea 2-3 Bayern Munich

2.33pmThe full-time whistle goes in Singapore and Bayern have held on to register a 3-2 win over Chelsea. The Premier League champions did well from the 30th minute onwards, but they were ultimately made to pay after a slow start.

2.34pmThat will be all from Sports Mole for this game. Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you again soon. Goodbye for now.
