Team News: James McArthur handed Crystal Palace debut against Burnley

Crystal Palace hand a debut start to James McArthur as they prepare to take on Burnley at Selhurst Park in the Premier League this afternoon.

Crystal Palace have decided to hand a debut start to new signing James McArthur as they welcome Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon.

The £7m midfielder will be part of a Palace midfield four, which also comprises Jason Puncheon, Wilfried Zaha and Mile Jedinak, while Fraizer Campbell and Dwight Gayle start up top.

This afternoon's visitors to Selhurst Park have also decided to give a starting place to a new boy, with George Boyd coming into midfield as he looks to provide some creativity for strikers Lukas Jutkiewicz and Danny Ings.

Sean Dyche's Burnley are to be marshalled by captain Jason Shackell in defence, partnered by fellow centre-back Ben Mee.

Crystal Palace: Speroni; Ward, Delaney, Dann, Mariappa, Jedinak, McArthur, Puncheon, Zaha, Campbell, Gayle

Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mee, Arfield, Marney, Jones, Boyd, Jutkiewicz, Ings
