Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Birmingham City

Sports Mole casts its eye over Sunday's Championship match between two sides who have not suffered defeat for a while - Blackburn and Birmingham.

Both Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City go into tomorrow's Championship match at Ewood Park on solid unbeaten runs in December.

Home side Rovers have not lost since their defeat at Ipswich Town at the start of the month, while Birmingham are eight matches unbeaten since November 9.

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer is likely to recall David Dunn after he missed the Boxing Day draw against Sheffield Wednesday.

Despite their unbeaten run, Birmingham have drawn too many games and still lie closer to the relegation places than the playoffs.

Lee Clark is without Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard for the next three games after his straight red card in the goalless draw at Wigan Athletic on Thursday, with Andrew Shinnie is set to start in the youngster's absence.

Sports Mole says: 1-0
