Team News: No surprises in Barcelona XI

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez all start for Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has not sprung any surprises in his team selection for tonight's Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich at Camp Nou.

The Spaniard has no fresh injury concerns and has indeed selected the XI that was expected. Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar continue in attack, while Ivan Rakitic starts in the middle of the park.

Javier Mascherano, meanwhile, is preferred at centre-back to Jeremy Mathieu.

Bayern, meanwhile, are without key players in the shape of David Alaba, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, but Robert Lewandowski starts despite his broken nose.

There is also a spot in midfield for Thiago, who returns to his former club for the first time, while Thomas Muller also starts in what appears to be a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba; Busquets, Iniesta, Rakitic; Suarez, Messi, Neymar

Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha, Boateng, Benatia, Bernat; Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Alonso, Thiago; Muller; Lewandowski
