Half-Time Report: Atletico Madrid in control at the break

Goals from Miranda, Raul Garcia and Filipe Luis give Atletico Madrid a comfortable lead against Austria Vienna.

Atletico Madrid are beating Austria Vienna 3-0 in their Champions League clash tonight.

Atletico pushed forward early on and looked threatening. Their pressure paid off after 11 minutes when Miranda found the net from a few yards out after Koke's initial header had been blocked.

Filipe Luis then found Raul Garcia for the home side, but his effort went wide.

The chances continued to flow, however, and Diego Costa tested Heinza Lindner in Vienna's goal with a shot from inside the area.

Vienna came close to making it 1-1 but Atletico goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made a save after Thomas Murg had cut inside from the right.

Atletico then went up the other end and made it 2-0. Costa floated in a cross from the right and Garcia was there to head in.

Costa could have made it even worse for Vienna, but Lindner was able to keep out his shot.

However, it was 3-0 right on half time as Luis slotted in from close range.
