Luka Jovic reportedly tells Real Madrid that he wants to secure a transfer away from the Bernabeu as soon as possible.

Luka Jovic is reportedly pushing to secure an exit away from Real Madrid during the January transfer window.

On the back of two disappointing years at the Bernabeu, the Serbia international has been limited to just six substitute appearances until Carlo Ancelotti this season.

With the prospect of at least one of Kylian Mbappe or Erling Braut Haaland arriving at the club next year, the 23-year-old realistically has no long-term future.

According to Fichajes.net, Jovic is keen to find a new club as soon as possible in order to kick-start his career.

Any clubs who are interested in the attacker will likely only entertain a loan approach at the midway point of the campaign, an option that Real will have to consider if their £54m signing is to regain some form.

At a time when Alexandre Lacazette is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is said to view Jovic as a potential replacement.
